This is my second back procedure with Dr. Rowe and the staff. He inserted a neuro-stimulator two years ago to give my right leg some relief from a very "talkative" nerve that kept me awake nights. This has been working quite well. However, my lower back and sciatic nerve and also other spinal issues have been causing dull, constant pain so last week I had an epidural. I love Dr. Rowe. I was at the surgical center at 1pm, my designated time. However, i was taken back till 3:30. For people in their 70's and 80's as my husband and i are, it's important we don't have to drive home in the dark. Which is exactly what we had to do. I realize that sometimes there are complications in surgeries, but next time when your dealing with people of our ages it might be a good idea to schedule them early in the day.
